The Bakehouse is
a beautiful Grade II listed stone cottage in a peaceful village that has been lovingly restored and refurbished. A spacious tiled hallway for coats and boots leads onto the cosy lounge. The inglenook fireplace once used to bake the village bread now has a log burner for those cooler nights, an ideal way to spend the evening after a day out and about exploring the countryside. There are two comfortable sofas to relax and watch TV, curl up with a book or get the board games out for some family fun. Adjoining the lounge, a fully fitted kitchen diner is equipped with all the modern appliances you need to cook during your stay. Seating for four is perfect for relaxed breakfasts or evening meals and there is access onto the terrace from the kitchen diner if you prefer to dine alfresco. Upstairs at the front of the cottage, the master bedroom overlooks the sleepy village. A king-sized bed, wardrobe, and drawers allow you to unpack and feel at home. The second bedroom has twin beds, hanging space and drawers, and overlooks the cottage garden with its ancient apple tree and the fields beyond. There is a family bathroom with a bath and shower, washbasin and WC. The beautifully planted garden at the front of the cottage has a little bench that is perfect for morning coffee in the sunshine. The completely private stone-flagged terrace at the rear has seating and ample space to relax in the afternoon sun.
