Like wee trains?

The 18th Wirksworth Model Railway Exhibition is getting close - Saturday 30th September & Sunday 1st October. Spread across three halls in Wirksworth town there will be plenty of layouts in a variety of scales, specialist trade stands, DVDs, books, tombola and refreshments available. Arranged by the Ecclesbourne Valley Railway Association, the big trains will be operating between Wirksworth and Duffield too with a discounted day rover for those doing both the train and the exhibition. Please note: We had originally planned an earlier train from Duffield both days however this will now not be operating due to the planned main line rail strike, affecting visitors who may have arrived at Duffield by train.
