A quick trip into Inverness this morning to pick up some materials for the lodge with a stop-off for a coffee in North Kessock and wonderful views over the Beauly Firth

Glen Affric is a must see drive and with so many of the trees coming into leaf with so many different shades of green making the glen really come to life after the long winter in this high area of stunning beauty.
Beautiful crisp morning and this lovely scene looking west from the Dornoch Bridge towards the snow covered mountains will lift anyone’s heart.
