Italian Honeymoon
I love helping couples plan their honeymoon, but when my son Alex asked me to help him & Elysha plan their honeymoon to Italy I was so honoured to be involved They wanted a multi-centre trip that would include Florence, Tuscany & The Italian Lakes. They are both very much foodies & love cooking at home so an Italian cooking course was a must. Their trip started in Manchester with an overnight hotel to start the honeymoon in style. Lounge passes and bubbles of course for the morning of the flight. They flew to Pisa, with a train transfer to Florence. Staying at Hotel Minerva, Florence in a premium Florence View Room. The roof top pool had views to die for overlooking the rooftops of Florence (keep sound on to hear the bells chiming over Florence ) As promised a cooking class was booked. Here they both went out into the markets of Florence with the chef and then back to the kitchen to learn how to make & cook the perfect pasta. From Florence I arranged car hire for their trip to Tuscany. I’ll share more photos & tomorrow I’ll share what they got up to in Tuscany

Stayed in Perissa where there’s a huge choice of tavernas lining the beach.
I’m a sucker for a sunset so had to see the famous Santorini sunset on a sunset cruise in to the Caldera which was truly magical
Staying in Perissa made a trip to Santorini hugely affordable. We stayed at The Perissa Bay Hotel and spent our days on the black volcanic sands of Perissa often till 7pm at night. Sunbeds were free and the guys kept us fed & watered well beers 🍺all day long 😀
A trip to Fira the capital was just 2.5 euros but should not be missed. I could easily spend all day long in one of the roof top bars or restaurants taking in those magical views
