Are you jetting off to Spain? If so check your passport was issued less than 10 years before the date you enter Spain and the expiry date is at least 3 months after the day you plan to leave.

Turkey is a super popular destination at the minute for us Brits. To enter Turkey your passport must be valid for at least 150 days from the date you arrive and have a full blank page for entry and exit stamps.

It is also illegal not to carry some form of photographic ID in Turkey. Always carry your passport or residence permit. In some busy areas, especially Istanbul, the authorities may stop people for ID checks.

🇺🇸 USA 🇺🇸

If you are visiting the USA this summer, your passport should be valid for the proposed duration of your stay. You don’t need any additional period of validity on your passport beyond this.

Don’t forget to apply for your ESTA or Visa before you travel, it’s advisable to do this as early as possible as not everyone is eligible and a visa takes much longer to obtain.

ESTA authorization is generally valid for multiple trips over a period of two years (starting the date that you are approved) or until your passport expires, whichever comes first. Always ensure you are using the correct ESTA website via gov.uk as there are some websites that charge more!!

You cannot apply for an ESTA visa waiver if you have travelled to or been in Cuba on or after 12 January 2021. You must instead apply for a US visa.

You cannot apply for an ESTA visa waiver if you:
* have been arrested (even if the arrest did not result in a criminal conviction)
* have a criminal record
* have been refused admission into, or have been deported from the USA

National Highway has issued a warning to all customers flying from Manchester Airport throughout June, July & August, to leave extra time for travel after announcing that parts of the M56 between junctions 5 & 6 will be closed during specific dates for resurfacing slip roads as well as replacing road markings and bridge joints.
Please make sure to plan ahead for your flights departure time!
