The ROMANS RETURN to The Chester House Estate Roman Fest on Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd June 2024. 🗡️

‼️Admission to the event is FREE for the whole family to enjoy but please ensure that you book a free ticket for this popular event.

A sneak preview of the exciting programme for this year’s Roman Fest includes:
- Roman army displays
- Roman crafts activities and demonstrations
- Stalls with family friendly activities run by museums, local societies and professional archaeologists from Northamptonshire and beyond.
- The Northamptonshire Archaeological Resource Centre Open Day
- Tours of the excavation
- Live Artefact conservation

To celebrate Cafe Track 5th Birthday, we wanted to do something special, and also ensure that we can keep going for future years!!

So we decided that it would be a great idea to walk over 50km across our wonderful county.

The challenge aims to address a significant funding shortfall as well as helping to promote local businesses and the vibrant community and scenic beauty of Northamptonshire.

Route: 50km walk from Silverstone Cicruit to The Chester House Estate

We've updated our website - we've added vegan and gluten free tags to all our food and drink businesses!

We know how frustrating it is to never know whether a restaurant will be able to cater for specific diets, which is why we've gone through and checked each and every eatery on our website and added these icons where they apply.

Just click on the destination you're interested in, and check to see if these icons appear in the corner to make sure they serve vegan and/or gluten free products.

Never have to worry about not being able to order food again!

Our first talk is this Friday, where Raunds & District History Society's own Susan Copperwheat will be introducing you to a range of quirky traditions throughout the East Midlands!
