We’re a local Branch of one of the UK’s largest friendly societies, the Oddfellows, which has over 200 years of experience of creating opportunities for people to meet up and make friends, as well as supporting its members in times of need. Join us upstairs in the Latte Lounge for hearty natural food, refreshments and relaxation. Tuesday Drop In, Join us for a fun afternoon, bring your chosen craft or pass time to work on in good company, join in with some games or if you prefer just just have a chat with friends, the choice is yours. Help yourself to tea, coffee, biscuits and cake makes a very relaxed and fun afternoon. Lower Hall at the URC, Ormskirk St, St Helens, WA10 2JZ. Cost £2.50 members £3.00 guests. We also run day trips to the surrounding area and further afield along with Christmas overnight stays and the popular summer breaks. Some of our outings in the past have been to Shibden Hall, Skipton, Port Sunlight, St Johns Tower, Yorkshire day trip, Dewlay Cheese Factory, Saltaire, a guided tour of Liverpool John Lennon Airport and lunch at Stockport Plaza followed by a tour of The Hat Works and Museum.

Tomorrow we are off to Oswaldtwistle Mills Home and Lifestyle for a full day of shopping, eating and entertainment.
We will have a little retail therapy followed by our 3 course lunch, be entertained by the fabulous Martin Gregory Lambert and a little more shopping time to get those last minute bargains before we head off home.

WOW! What a fabulous afternoon we had on Tuesday at Ormskirk Street United Reformed Church where we held our Charity Afternoon in aid of our Chairman's Charity of the year Willowbrook Hospice. We raised over £1100 (plus another £108 on Hazels Willowbrook Hospice Craft Stall).

A massive THANK YOU to those who helped to run stalls and to the ladies for keeping the refreshments going...(those HUGE slices of cake !!!! )and to everyone who came and supported us and made the day a success.
