Cosy Beam is located in the coastal village of Cayton, 5 minutes from the popular Cayton Bay. 3 miles from Scarborough and 5 miles from Filey. There is a friendly family pub 100 metres away. Well behaved dogs are welcome. There will be early check-in and late check out so you can enjoy a full day at the coast. Wonderful place to visit if your staying at Cosy Beam Cottage ✨

We’ve been sitting on something very exciting since last summer and can now announce that we’re the host for the second series of Channel 5’s Secret Life of the Forest!

Filmed over one extraordinary summer in 2022, this eight-part series, narrated by actor Robert Lindsay, focuses on the diverse wildlife and nature in Dalby Forest, and the Forestry England staff and volunteers caring for these special places.

The first episode launches at 8pm tonight on Channel 5 and can be watched on catch up. Each episode will be on every Wednesday evening at 8pm for 8 weeks.

We’re overjoyed to see this series come to life and we hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed filming it.
