Hard to imagine how difficult it was for the family yesterday as they said goodbye to their beloved Olivia, who lost her battle with cancer just a few weeks ago.
She was 8 years old. 8 years old for God’s sake.
A pupil at our kids’ school with such a bright future. So incredibly cruel.
I’m running my 11th marathon in Olivia’s memory, and to raise funds for the incredible children’s cancer charity Candlelighters, which is the family’s wish.
So, although I’m well beyond my initial target, I want to continue to try and raise as much as I can so that other families are supported through the horrendous stress of childhood cancer.
