They're back!! The first of the GPS-tagged Curlew have returned to their breeding grounds in the National Park 🥳

These birds were tagged during 2023 and 2024 as part of our Farming In Protected Landscapes funded partnership work with BTO British Trust for Ornithology, Bolton Castle Estate and participating farms and farmers to protect Curlew in the Yorkshire Dales.

All within a short drive of us…

Pen-y-ghent, Ingleborough and Whernside are among the best-known peaks in the National Park.

Our Three Peaks walking app contains routes for the classic 24-mile circular as well as individual routes for each peak. The app has been developed with our National Park Rangers who have added points of interest along the way.

The app also includes important safety advice for walking the Three Peaks and the Three Peaks code of conduct, which will help you to stay safe and help respect our local communities 👇

The pretty town of Hawes is a 10-minute drive for our guests. As well as the waterfall it offers a range of pubs and cafes.
