One of our favourite places to visit on the Isle of Wight is The Donkey Sanctuary. Free entry and lots of lovely donkeys to say hello to. While you’re there why not adopt one and then you can visit each time you come on holiday. 🫏

The original idea for Warrior Festival came about when a close friend was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour. The help and support she received from the Wight Brainy Bunch inspired the want to give something back.

Carrot cake and coffee - a winning combination. 😊Would definitely recommend a visit to Blueberrys Cafe along the cliff path between Shanklin and Sandown.

A lovely walk along the beach, a paddle in the sea and then a little treat enjoyed sitting on the balcony when I got back. Bliss! 😊

I can confirm the sea is getting warmer and feels ready for the first swim of the year. Looking forward to it. Hopefully tomorrow. 🏖️☀️

D-day 80 Commemoration Event

How lucky are we to be on the fly past route for the Red Arrows! This is all part of the D-Day 80 Commemoration Event. We shall be looking to the skies at approx. 12.25pm and should have a perfect view from the balcony. 😊

Red Arrows fly past route for tomorrow at Portsmouth, coming from Bournemouth and round the bottom of the Isle of Wight. Over Portsmouth at approx 12:31 pm for the D Day 80 commemoration event.
