Our Toubkal Winter Mountaineering week starts today!
Chris has been out there for a few days enjoying beautiful weather on his reccee walks (it's a hard job and all that). Yesterday he walked up Tassgimout from Imlil, summiting just as that call to prayer floated up from the villages below.

Regardless, we want to remind you that we sell gift vouchers. You can buy them for a specific course or some funds to put towards one, you can book the date or leave it to the recipient once they receive their voucher.
We also email them out for you to print. Maybe don't leave it to Christmas Eve to get in touch, but you can cut it fairly fine (if that's how you like to do things).

🧗♀️Over the weekend Alex delivered a Climbing Wall Instructor training to aspirant instructors. It's always a great opportunity to play with loads of different belay devices (and get geeky over the old ones).
⭐Now that they've finished their training, the aspirants will consolidate their skills by practising and shadowing before attending an assessment. We hope they enjoy the learning experience!

Thursday throwback to February when Hati and her excellent multicoloured balaclava joined James in the Cairngorms for a quick hit of Scottish Winter.
After an excellent game of desert island discs on the drive north, they joined Chris to climb Invernookie on day 1. A great route and a good lead by James, but the whole time Hati ad her eye on The Seam, which looked far more like the grovelling climbing style she enjoyed.
Chris had work on day 2, so James and Hati headed up The Seam and made it back for the train back to Sheffield. Most importantly, they got within kicking distance of the Cairngorms reindeer (which was probably the main aim of their trip anyway).

Great time visiting the wonderful Isle of Man and a real privilege to spend some time with this crew. We did spend quite a lot of time in the mist, although I was assured this was the magical cloak of Manannan Mac-y-Lierr not good old fashioned clag! Despite the warm hospitality and myriad of legends, I can’t deny I was most excited by the fleeting views of a Hen Harrier.
