Hill Farm is a stone's throw from Corbet Wood and Grinshill, with scenic walks and cycle routes, graced by stunning views of the nearby Hawkstone Park, Shropshire Hills and Welsh mountain peaks. This beautiful area is famous for its ancient mines and natural stone production, and is a worldwide discovery site for dozens of Megaliths, dating as far back as 7000 BC. harge. The picturesque village of Clive rests eight miles from historic Shrewsbury. There is a local shop and pub in Hadnall, two miles away, and a train station in Yorton, a mile from Hill Farm. A regular bus service to Shrewsbury operates from Clive. We purchased the shepherd's hut as new in 2023. The studio within the farmhouse is a more recent addition to the main property, which is about 400 years old and built from stone from the local quarry. There are 50 acres of fields around the property, and outdoor seating for guests. I'm a big reader (and writer) myself, so there are plenty of books available.
