Where ever possible we like to supply and promote local products in The Lodge, whether that be real ale from the local brewery, cakes and bread from local bakeries or eggs from our own chickens 🐔

We have even made links with a lovely, local massage therapist who will come to The Lodge for anyone wanting to treat themselves during their stay with us.

This weekend, we have had the pleasure of meeting a group of local artisans who live just a road away from us. They make amazing natural soap completely by hand, using a traditional French hot process that creates a dreamy creamier bar. All their soaps are plastic free, delicious smelling, and vegan.

We are going be using these beautifully presented soaps in some of our welcome gift baskets for future guests to The Lodge which we hope people will be able to use and enjoy during their stay or take away with them.
