🚉 An iconic rail journey....

The Bernina Express is a scenic train journey that runs between Chur or St. Moritz in Switzerland and Tirano in Italy. Operated by the Rhaetian Railway, it is renowned for offering one of the most breathtaking rail experiences in the world.
The route passes through the Swiss Alps, featuring stunning landscapes such as glaciers, mountain peaks, lush valleys, and picturesque villages. It includes the Albula and Bernina lines, both of which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Key highlights along the way include the Landwasser Viaduct, the Bernina Pass, and the Brusio Spiral Viaduct.

The journey takes about 4 hours and is serviced by panoramic coaches that allow for an unobstructed view of the surroundings. It operates year-round, offering unique views in each season, from snow-covered winter landscapes to vibrant summer scenery.
