Bookings for our 2024 Winter HAF programme is now open!

To book, head to www.Southampton.gov.uk/HAF.

The DfE has provided funding to local authorities to coordinate a programme that is designed to provide healthy food and enriching activities during the Easter, Summer and Christmas holidays to children who receive benefits-related free school meals.

Good morning 😃

We have received a few messages recently regarding issues with still being unable to book or view activities on the timetable. We believe the bugs were fixed and there is no longer a problem. However, the reason you may be still unable to see any bookings for May is because the programme doesn’t actually run in May. The HAF programme unfortunately can only fund Easter, summer and winter.

The token release date for the summer is 12th June. Meaning, we expect you to be able to view activities early June time.

We have been made aware that there are still some people who are unable to view the timetable when trying to book. We’re being told, to solve this issue it is quite simple and you may just need to use a different browser/clear cookies.

However, we appreciate this isn’t a practical solution. The development team are working hard to resolve this matter as urgently as possible and we hope this will be resolved as soon as possible.

Whilst this matter is being resolved, we can assure you, this will not risk your opportunity to book a provision, if spaces are still available. Being only two weeks until the programme starts, we have a large amount of providers who are already fully booked. If you are unable to book a site, please email [email protected] where we will support booking of spaces are available.

🚨 SEN specific site, self referral now open! 🚨

Please note*
This referral form is to declare your interest in accessing Southampton City Council's Holiday Activity and Food (HAF) programme: Special Educational Needs (SEN) Specific provision.

This provision is tailored to cater for children whose needs may not be appropriately met at our standard SEN Friendly provisions or those that receive a lower level of short breaks funding.

Submitting a referral will not guarantee a place within this provision. Applications will be reviewed on a case by case basis, and more information may be needed from you.

If successful, we will contact you with a unique code to book through the platform. There are a limited number of spaces available, and spaces will only be allocated to those we feel require this additional support. Spaces will be filled on a first come, first served basis.
