The Thomas Wright House which is about a 15 minute walk/5 minute drive from us, is a restaurant with food that definitely tickles those taste buds!

I do love autumn days when the sunshines. The road leading to our farm has some beautiful views.

This will enable the use of a bedroom (king size bed) with an en-suite and the open plan living/dining/seating area and garden.

🛌 Book direct for a 3 night stay Friday - Monday for £300.
We welcome upto 2 medium well behaved dogs for an extra £30.


💦 Although we don’t have a hot tub, there is an option to hire one in! (Advanced notice required).

In the farm yard we have a small shop (however not open all of the time), when we open up to sell our own produce such as lamb or beef and locally sourced pork.
This weekend is fresh lamb. Whatever lamb is left after this weekend will be put in the freezer and can be purchased anytime. If you are staying with us and would like to have a nosey of what we have for sale then you can ask Shelly.

🚲 We have bike racks next to the cottage for you to store your bikes. We have old, disused, railway line paths, very close by that leads you to Spennymoor or to Bishop Auckland and beyond. 🥾🚲
