Oak Tree Holiday Cottage, Lincolnshire Self-catering accommodation for 3 people in Hundleby, nr Spilsby, Lincolnshire. Open all year round. WiFi is available for guests to use.

The cottage sleeps three people and comprises one double bedroom, one single bedroom, shower room and lounge/kitchen-diner. An enclosed grass area lies to the rear of the cottage and ample parking is available at the front for two cars. The cottage is peacefully located on the outskirts of the village of Hundleby, 1.5 miles from the historic town of Spilsby where all essential amenities can be fou

nd, 13 miles from the seaside resort Skegness and 30 miles from the city of Lincoln. Hundleby has a pub and a church and is on a major bus route. There are also several public footpaths in the village. The cottage is south-facing so receives much sun during the day. From the back of the cottage there is a lovely view of the surrounding countryside. If you are lucky you may catch a glimpse of some rabbits, hares, pheasants, garden birds or maybe even a squirrel or a fox! Please note that the cottage has slightly lower ceilings and doors than normal. The average sized person should not find this a problem but taller people may find this a slight disadvantage. Sorry no dogs and no smoking allowed.

Weekly pupdate: 128 pups, 229 cows and 33 bulls. However, only about 20 pups are visible.

Thank You for visiting and supporting MAVC in 2024.

We are now closed to visitors until Saturday 29th March 2025 with the exception of Wednesday 30th October for our final lecture.

Work will continue over the winter season by a dedicated team of volunteers, we will share any news or exciting finds with you!

This work will help us preserve the memory of all the men and women that flew with or supported 106 Squadron RAF Bomber Command at RAF Metheringham in WW2.
