BEACH WALK

There’s a loop walking route from Pitmilly, perfect for providing a few hours of fresh air and long views out to the North Sea.

Head out on foot from Pitmilly at the NE corner of the nature trails and cross over the A917 road, following the track down to the sandy bay and this scenic ruined cottage.

Carry on to your right, following the Fife Coastal Path to Kingsbarns beach. From there, head up through the village and follow the brown tourist signs back to Pitmilly.

This walk is around 8km, and may involve some scrambling over eroded sections of the footpath!

Our capture some interesting after dusk activity down by the hen run.

The hens are generally safely tucked away in their coops after sunset, apart from the occasional escapee cockerel!
