Ceramics is my inspiration, therefore each piece, large or small, will have an element of ceramics linked to it, if not, purely ceramic.

Sculptural, abstract and carrying a concept is my aim and emotions are what I hope to evoke from all I create. I love to create images that are thought provoking and bring out memories, to the viewer, of times that were significant in their lives. Be it a small raku pot or larger sculptures or installations my aim is to make you think, perhaps shed a tear or raise a smile. The materials I use are

mainly porcelain and sometimes stoneware or bone china clay. I use various textures to make you feel differently about the piece in front of you to make you want to touch and experience it.
