Here it is, the new terrace. After huge delays and Mark on the verge of a nervous breakdown it is finally done 🎉🎉Not actually all done yet as still need to add edging, soft planting etc. But you get the idea. Happy weekend. Finally we have sun in Scotland 😎🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🥂

Originally a coach house and stables Arngomery is very old (1686 according to the stone under the arch) and on All Hallows Eve interesting to remember that 11 monks are buried under an ancient yew tree on the former estate …

We’ve been loving the Kippen Street Fayre for the last 19 years since we first moved to Kippen. From the hectic early years helping to run stalls and the oh so stressful making of fancy dress costumes - and now to the calmer recent years (we’re getting old) - it’s always a brilliant day. Some things never change and this year’s post Fayre Day barbecue/dinner was a blast. Great night McGregor ☀️🥂❤️

Friday and weather still beautiful so ditched the chores and headed down the road to the beautiful Lake of Mentieth. Absolutely love this place. Fantastic spot for lunch with a view. Or dinner, or just a coffee. Think we’ll be coming here a lot over the summer months …Had a great lunch and brilliant service from the lovely Sam and Erin

Think we’ll be here a lot over the summer months …lunch, dinner, coffee …anything really just to sit and take in the view❤️Great lunch and fantastic service from the lovely Erin and Sam

Had the best weekend in Edinburgh catching up with old friends. Always have to fit in a visit to the Portrait Gallery, and especially the cafe - so so brilliant! Sorry, no photo of cafe, but the most amazing artwork and lovely food. Too distracted by all the chat 😂

Love meeting up with these guys when we’re in Perros. They really are the best fun. Also, bless them, they’ve helped us out in SO many ways with all our house stuff over the years. From doing guest check-in’s in the early days, completely gutting and refitting the basement, clearing out our old kitchen when we couldn’t get over to do it ourselves, and most recently personally collecting and delivering a load of logs for guests staying over Christmas, even though they were coming down with Covid!! We absolutely could not have managed the place without them.
Thank you Remi and Nancy, Cyrus and Armelle for all your amazing help and support, and for making us laugh ❤️❤️❤️❤️
