We are a North East based mountaineering and hillwalking club in based in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. Fantastic weekend of walking with Stonehaven Mountaineering & Hillwalking Club, several new members had come along to try out a walk and thoroughly enjoyed I hope! Existing club members were staying overnight at Braedownie Hut, the club hut of the Carn Dearg Mountaineering Club.

It is situated at the north end of Glen Clova ideally situated for the Munros Dreish and Mayar which were this weekends hills.

If any potential members or walkers wish to come along to try a walk with the aim of joining the club, please get in touch via email or messenger πŸ‘ More details about the club can be found on our website - http://www.thesmhc.co.uk

BIG Thanks to all who attended the Lee Craigie Talk last night at No.44 Hotel and Bar Stonehaven. We had a small hiccup with the projector but managed to find a workable solution and from feedback received everyone thoroughly enjoyed :)

Thanks again to Lee for her time and inspiring talk - her new book 'Other Ways to Win' is out now and available to buy from most popular outlets. Well worthy of a read.

Thanks, Stonehaven Mountaineering & Hillwalking Club
