The sheep bnb review and chatter this morning at Haws Hill between Ginnie, the Pedigree Blue Texel, and her new ewe lamb born early this morning, of Stowcottages facilities and hospitality.
Pretty good so far, said the ewe lamb, I got a heat lamp at 2 am it was a bit cold coming into this world it took me a while to get out , and a milk bar with the best quality colostrum…a bit like the Old Forge Cottage, Sheep Street, Stow on the Wold, it has a log burner, fabulous cocktail bars and artisan restaurants within 2 minutes walk. The boss says the best one is the pub called The Sheep on Sheep Street. I prefer Ryeland Loft at Haws Hill, said Ginnie the Pedigree Blue Texel Mama, it’s on the farmyard right next to us in the lambing shed, I can show you off to the guests. AND a they have availability this weekend for Easter. It’s very peaceful except for us baaing and horses whinnying. I am most excited about Ryeland Lodge down at the bottom of Haws Hill farm and the log cabin that will be available from June time , to humans with restricted mobility, it’s totally off grid, with a log burner, a wet room and a ramp to get wheelchairs into and is fully accessible. It’s going to have a wildflower meadow too in front I hear, I wonder if we can graze in front of the cabin or will that just be for the fat Pedigree Ryelands? said The Blue Texel Ewe Lamb.
Shame it’s too far to Fountain Cross Cottage, Portmahomack, North Coast Route 500 and right next to the beach where you can spot Dolphins and see the Northern Lights , said Ginnie the Pedigree Blue Texel Mama, however if you drink lots more colostrum today and grow up bigger and stro
On the subject of sheep….lambing 2024 is well underway at Haws Hill.
This year we have the advantage of being able to sleep over in Ryeland Loft during lambing , which is 10 steps away from the lambing shed….but Ryeland Loft is back up and available for guests after lambing in late February…. https://www.airbnb.com/h/ryelandloft
