UPDATE- WE HAVE BEEN GIVEN A PICTURE OF THE GUILTY PARTY. SADLY WE CANNOT SEE THE REG BUT WILL GIVE PEOPLE AN IDEA WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR. THANKS FOR ALL YOUR HELP AND KIND WORDS SO FAR 😊

This afternoon at around 15.10 on Lower Road inbetween Stowmarket Golf Course and Onehouse Shepard and Dog this coach was victim of a hit and run crash and as you can see it has caused thousands and thousands of pounds worth of damage. Also causing an obstruction to the road whilst we did our best to clear it up.

We are as you can understand devastated and Dan T is a bit shook up. The police where called and gave us an incident number but that's all they could do. We are appealing to find out if anyone has dash cam footage, cctv from home or may even know who it was. We will be calling any local buisness tomorrow along the route to see if they can help.

The vehicle in question was a white peought box van see picture from a camera. This could have been a whole lot worse. Fortunately no one was on board other than Dan. But this individual needs to be found. Please share far and wide. Thanks 👍

We are having issues with our emails at the moment so please bear with us. Currently it's only showing us emails from early 2022 🙈

How times have change since then. The fleet, the yard, staff and work load after covid. This year is set to be our busiest yet. So If you have any private hires that need quoting book early to avoid disappointment 😁

The first picture below is current fleet of main coaches took this week. The second is the main fleet from early 2022. The Suffolk Gent is still with us but now a 70 seater. Progress 🚍

Evening All 👋

As many of you know we took on the Stowmarket to Bury St Edmunds corridor in July 2024. We have since been doing our up most best to return the corridor to its former self 😃

As usual we will monitor the numbers closely to find out what's working and what isn't. We have had several suggestions on improvements which we have added to the list. What we are trying to say is support us when possible to help us help our local community 🚍

We recently had a meeting with Suffolk County Council about a return of a Saturday Seevice and a proposal for additional bus stops in certain areas. Now we wait to find out if we are successful 🤞

We have had several people ask when our 2025 day trips are going to be announced 😃

We have been busy writing the programme, emailing all the venues and making the brochure. We aim to have it out at the start of February 👌

A slightly quieter week here at DCT Headquarters 🚍 So we've used the time wisely to tidy the 70 seaters 👀

The Suffolk Gentleman has been away at our friends Nick Trimmers Coach&Bus having the drivers seat/crew seat/screens and some well worn seats changed 😍

Today Dan T and Toby have been buffing up George's alloys to get the salt off. Admittedly a bit of waste of time with roads at the moment. But we are a sad lot 🙈

We are having to terminate the service at Woolpit due to the medical emergency.
Sorry for any inconvenience caused but by the time we get another vehicle out it will be too late to run.

A passenger has been took unwell on the bus, the service has currently pulled over so we can seek advice from 999.
