May Cottage was built in the late 18th century and was once owned by a wealthy family from London. The property was used for their annual holidays where the family were extremely well looked after by their accompanying servants. The property has been extended over the years and is now a substantial quality home and business both owned and run by your hosts Lucy and Paul. This lovely bright and wel

coming home is close to the vibrant market towns of North Walsham and Stalham. We are ideally situated on the North Norfolk coast just a short stroll away from a stunning sandy beach. For those who wish to experience the Norfolk Broads, it’s just 10 minutes away. There are a number of places nearby where you can hire a boat by the hour, half day or full day, e.g. There are numerous quality pubs and restaurants only a short distance away. We highly recommend guests walk along the beach to the ‘Poachers Pocket’ which offers both pub food and à la carte menu. Nearby sea-side resorts and historic towns include:

Cromer - 20mins,
Sheringham - 30mins,
Holt - 40mins,
Norwich - 45mins
