Gorgeous kayaking on Loch Insh - well worth the hour’s drive to the Cairngorms especially since we were treated to wonderful view of osprey’s nest complete with three chicks. Tuesday was a stunning day for climbing Ben Wyvis although none of us applied quite enough sunscreen….. we could have done without the clouds of flies following us along the ridge at the top but the views were absolutely breathtaking. Very grateful for the stream to cool our feet in at the edge of the forest on our descent.

Our Story

Come and enjoy our fabulous woodland lodges. Set on the edge of the Victorian spa town of Strathpeffer in the Scottish Highlands but within easy reach of many favourite attractions including Inverness with its shops and lively social scene. Water sports, cycling, walking and much more are also within a short distance. A family run business, we use the lodges ourselves and welcome children, dogs and their rsponsible owners!
