I’m glad I don’t work on films any more I try to stick to commercials. I’m on at low budget film at the moment went to location last night to park up. Got there try to get the truck into a place you couldn’t get the transit van in when I told the unit manager it was impossible she tried to think I was being awkward and asked me to attempt to do it again which I did and nearly knocked down a 14th century brick wall I refused to go any closer but she still insisted and and then I went no i’m not doing that. Looks at me like I’m being negative. Then she proceeds to park me twice more in different positions. Then asked me to move again from the third position so she can get some stuff out she forgot to move before I got in there so I refused and became grumpy. I explain to her that I had to be ready for 7 o’clock in the morning so I was going to be there at 6:30 to move the truck to the correct position so that make up . Then I get a text in the middle of the night 1 o’clock in the morning beeping and waking me up to tell me to be there at 6:30 in the morning to be ready to move the truck ready for seven. F**k me. When I get here everyone’s running and going .Going poor unit manager had a really bad time last night trying to get all these vehicles in. It was her that caused all the flipping problem getting the wrong vehicle is in first. She just didn’t know what she’s doing she was out of her depth but no one seems to realise except for me they’re all running round this morning and going on everything so lovely on location it’s fu***ng not.
