Anyway great commitment from the goalkeepers who made it through the bad traffic and had some fun on the last session of 2024

Thanks to all goalkeepers and parents for their efforts and support through the year, we hope you all have a great Christmas 🎅🏻 and look forward to seeing you all in 2025 back on 8th January

The goalkeeper

You stand there alone between your sticks,
Sometimes bored and not showing your goalkeeping tricks.

It’s hard to stay focused when the ball’s up the other end,
But your time will come when you will need to defend.

You watch your teammates run and score,
Watching them celebrate and wanting more.

The ball’s coming closer to your goal;
You ready yourself—it’s your time to go.

The ball flies straight at your top corner,
But you jump high, denying the scorer.

With the ball in your hands and teammates cheering,
You know in your heart there is no better feeling.

Because for you, as a goalkeeper, you are the difference it makes;
To draw or lose a game, one save is all it takes.

So next time you’re standing alone in your goal,
