Rock the Lakes will be back in 2025 from the 6th to the 8th of June. We will be announcing our 2025 line-up soon! See below for a wrap up of how amazing 2024 Rock the lakes was!

Come back for 2025 and enjoy a fantastic range of live music, entertainment, comedy, family-fun and plenty of food and drink!

In 2024 Rock The Lakes festival, set a new record for Away Resorts, and welcoming over 2,000 attendees in their busiest weekend ever.

Miraculously avoiding the poor weather that plagued other events across the weekend, Rock the Lakes was a triumph from start to finish. The event was bustling with families and friends from Friday until Sunday, marking Tattershall Lakes’ busiest week ever in terms of food and drinks sold across the park’s outstanding restaurants and bars.

Saturday’s festivities reached full capacity with a crowd of 2,300 people gathered to watch headliner Marvin Humes on the lakeside stage. The DJ, presenter and former JLS member put on a memorable performance, taking the time to snap selfies with fans in the crowd.

Here are your top tips and info for the fun ahead:

Entrance: Head to Sycamores and the bike hire gate, through the double gates near the Big Top - look out for the decorations!

Car Parking: Parking is limited, and there will be some road closures around the central complex area. Please walk to the fun if possible to help reduce traffic!

Weather: Things are looking dry at the moment 🤞 Make sure you wrap up well as it can get chillier at night!

Night flights planned for this week ✈️

NIGHT FLYING will begin at Royal Air Force Coningsby from 16:45 every day from today (June 3rd) until 01:00 on the morning of Friday 7th inclusive.

Royal Air Force Coningsby is reaching out to its neighbours and the nearby equestrian establishments to inform them of a change to the usual pattern of flying activity. Flying will start from 16:45 and run until 01:00 (local time).

Operating under the cover of night is essential in modern military operations. Night Vision Goggles are a real tactical advantage and enable our crews to operate safely during the hours of darkness. Crews wear equipment which enhances ambient light conditions, allowing the RAF to operate into hostile or sparsely populated areas.

RAF Coningsby is one of several stations that supports night flying. Because there are fewer hours of darkness during the summer months, night flying begins later in the evening and continues into the early hours.

Group Captain Paul O’Grady is the Station Commander at RAF Coningsby. He said: “I am conscious that night flying may impact the local community but it is an essential part of the training required by RAF aircraft to support operations, and I thank you for your continued support.”
