🎂 Wow what a journey.. 5 years ago I took a leap of faith to start my own business, and launched 🚀 Space Meetings and Events Ltd in Jan 2020. Who knew that shortly after we'd be hit with the Covid-19 Pandemic and the whole world would be in lockdown. The hospitality and events industry was hit hard, all of the events we'd planned had to be cancelled and the future was uncertain, it was heartbreaking 💔
🩷 So what did we do, we had to pivot into virtual events and offer engagement boxes, we pursued and acquired more elite sport teams looking after their away travel and somehow managed to survive a very tricky first year.. Fast forward to 2021 - We won 'Best New Hospitality Company' with Tees Business something we are still very proud of. We were shortlisted for 'Best New Start-up Agency' with Conference News and the business continued to grow. This year we won another award from Famtastic Events and I couldn't be more proud of our achievements to date.
I feel very fortunate to work with some really big names in the corporate world, assisting with venue finding to full event management, from Directors dinners to large residential conferences and would just like to say a big thank you for trusting us with your events. Not forgetting the fantastic suppliers we work with from large hotel chains to small independent venues, you're all amazing!

What will 2025 bring? Watch this SPACE.. 🩷

🩷A very happy 2 year work anniversary to our wonderful Lynda who is my Girl Friday and No.1 Wing Woman, I couldn’t do what I do without her support! 🩷 To top off an awesome year I nominated Lynda for an industry award this month and she won! 🏆 This year Team SPACE have worked with some amazing companies, assisting with venue finding to conference planning in both the UK and Europe.
