Saundersfoot to wiseman’s bridge walk today.
Due to a landslide from Copper hall we took the upper path through the woods instead.

Luckily the ground was dry.

The views were amazing from the top, although we were a little exhausted from the climb.
Some refreshments were greatly appreciated thanks to the always welcoming Wisemans bridge inn.

All breaks up until the End of June are now offering a £50 saving.

Well well well.....October certainly has not disappointed!!

The beautiful days have most certainly out numbered the not so good ones and we've been able to venture out everyday. To explore Pembrokshires beautiful coastline. It really does take some beating when the weather is so glorious.

Today we had ventured further west and arrived at broad haven south! I was dressed for winter and quickly regretted the choice of wooly hat. But I'd committed to it 😂🥵
There was no going back !!

Parking was simple now using the app.We paid £3.50 for 3 hours. However, I'd suggest a full day £7.00 if you'd like to walk both routes ..The coastal path and Bosherton Lily ponds.This way you are not conscious of over running your ticket.

We walked the coastal path from Wales' national trust car park at Broad haven south to stackpole Quay via Barafundle bay. Before returning along the same route with its fabulous views. Itt certainly wasn't too cold for a beach day!

Both the sky and sea were beautiful and blue💙

On returning we had a short amount of time to explore the Lily ponds. But unfortunately we were not able to get as far as the eight arch bridge today. The recommended time to visit is June if you'd like to see the Lily's in bloom.

Please note Broad haven to stackpole is approximately 3 miles each way and does involve some rough paths plus numerous steps to climb.

Autumn has proved to be a perfect time to visit.

What a day!!! From an early morning Tenby town walk to exploring at the national Trust Colby woodland gardens at Amroth.

A perfect afternoon with warm winds and blue skies.

Admission is Free At Colby,
however donations are kindly welcomed.

Parking at Colby was £3.50 for up to 3.5 hrs or full day £7. I needed to pay with the park and pay app via my phone as didn't have cash and currently no card payments were an option. Please note signal is quite poor and I needed to walk the car park in hope of finding a signal.

Finally, I had successfully paid for our parking and we were off. We ventured through the woodlands with the constant sound of running water from the streams and brooks.
It was very calming! a perfect Saturday afternoon of exploring.

The weather was gorgeous..... and once we'd explored the woodlands, we naturally gravitated towards the beach.

I mean we couldn't visit Amroth without a visit to beach!

A fantastic end to a most beautiful October day!
