As the sun sets on Summer 2024, we'd like to thank all of our guests for making it a busy season 🥰 We are so grateful to you all for supporting us, some of you again and again (all the love for you guys!) and we hope to see you back again!

The silver lining to being a bit quiet mid-week for bookings is that we could spend a night in Bluebell and had the whole site to ourselves! The girls particulalry enjoyed toasting their marshmallows 😍🔥

How gorgeous does The Paddock look at the moment?! All thanks to our Chief Groundsman, Tony (and Sam too, of course) keeping the grass lush and the wild flowers flourishing. We did have to snap a quick pic without Tony realising though, he'd probably hate being on the socials 😂

It occurred to me recently that we've never actually introduced ourselves on social media, so I thought it was about time! Some of you will know us anyway (as you are our fabulous family and friends followers), but for those who don't, we are Katy and Ben! We have three beautiful daughters and two working cocker spaniels (also females!) who make up the rest of the Bowrundel Lifestyle team. Exploring the outdoors is one of our favourite things to do and we hope to help others enjoy their time surrounded by nature when they come to stay at The Paddock or The Potting Shed.

We know this weather ☔️🌧️ is not what we'd all hope for in July, but don't let that put you off booking a glamping trip! Our safari tents have wood burners inside so you'll be warm, dry and cosy no matter the weather. They also have large, under cover deck areas out the front so you can enjoy the views and still stay dry 🌅.

Enjoy camping? Well, we have some good news- just in time for the summer holidays we are opening a small number of grass pitches available to book for tents and trailer tents. With gated access adjacent to our glamping field, you can enjoy your own set up. You will also have access to our shower and toilet facilities. Contact us for all enquiries.
We are grateful to have so many returning guests booked in for this summer, staying with us again for the chance to relax and unwind in our gorgeous space and facilities! Following on from yesterday’s freak storm we are very happy to report all our guests are safe and well and helped us deal with the situation in a safe and timely manner. Following a couple of extra visits to site, damage is not as bad as originally thought. Rest assured all future bookings remain unaffected and the diary is still open for summer. We have upgraded our bell tents for the upcoming season to Touareg Bell Tents. These are more spacious than before and will improve the glamping experience for our guests. They offer some great outdoor activities such as hiking, trail running and mountain biking. Some awesome views and wonderful wildlife on offer. Being situated on top of a hill gives us some amazing views and scenery however when storms like Eunice and Dudley hit it makes for a nervous 72 hours. With extreme high winds wreaking havoc we are happy to report that we have largely come through it unscathed and remain open for business. A few minor repairs to be carried out in the next few days.
