What an incredible 24 hrs ! From a very empty Emirates flight via Dubai to Male, we swiftly picked up our 15 minute speedboat transfer to @ailafushimaldives , checked in and took some time to relax and remind myself that , yes ! I am actually in the Maldives ! it’s not every day you can say that & hugely grateful to be here . We had a site tour of the resort , checked out the beach villas and water villa options , a great resort for families & then headed by buggy across the joining jetty to the adult only resort of @oblulobigili I’ve learnt and seen so much in the last 24 hours, feel blessed to experience such a beautiful destination & with just one night here , and dinner at the underwater restaurant tonight , a fantastic start to the trip !
