One of the big topics of discussion in the travel industry this year has been around how to make holidays better for the destinations we visit. Of course, another great advantage of this mindset is that a few of the things we can do also make our travel experiences more meaningful, authentic, and memorable.

American Airlines is launching a new flight from Miami to the unspoilt island of South Caicos in the Caribbean. The new direct route will launch in February 2025, making this island easier to access. Also on the horizon is a highly-anticipated hotel opening.
