Look what we saw in The Guardian newspaper last week ….the best family friendly beaches in wales….

Caswell bay is only a short drive from .
It’s a blue flag beach and is a gorgeous secluded cove so perfect for families with little ones.

There is toilets, changing facilities, beach shop with buckets and spades and a cafe selling drinks and food.
Caswell beach is also home to who provides surf lessons for people with additional needs due to disability, illness, injury or learning difficulties.

Caswell is also home to who run camps and lessons for all ages. (Which I say say first hand are a fantastic skateboarding school)

Port Eynon
It a 40 minute drive down gorgeous welsh winding roads.
A breathtaking beach with almost a mile of sand. Gentle waters with lifeguards during the summer months. This is a perfect place for paddle boarding and having fun in the sea.

We at The Views are spoilt for choice with the amazing beaches around our coastline.

Caswell saunas

Myself and some friends went to a few weeks ago. If you haven’t been or you are looking for something different to do…. don’t wait… we all loved it.

A little tricky to find but lucky for us knew where they were going.

Once we were there we all absolutely loved it. The view from the sauna was amazing. We all managed the ice barrels, some with more grace than others 🧊😂💪 and had a really fabulous time.

We will be back! Thank you

Christmas 2023

Wow what a fantastic time, despite the rain.
We had a fabulous Christmas celebration with the whole family. My mum has started a new tradition and took the boys (age 9,9,7) to see Cinderella . Highly recommended! They all thought it was hilarious.
We found a new place to go trampoline park.
We finally visited the . Wow. My youngest said it was EPIC!! Great time for everyone, wave machine, rapid area, and 3 water slides plus a lovely area for the little ones. Any child under 8 needs to have an adult.
No visit home is complete without a trip to and endless , movie nights and Lego.

All in all a fabulous Christmas Break.

** Strawberry picking ** THROWBACK to when we went to in the summer.

It’s honestly one of my favourite thing to do in the summer with my family and I absolutely love coming to the Gower PYO.

It’s under cover so even if we do have the classic welsh weather you can still do it.
Plus they sell delicious cakes and coffee for afterwards!!

Sunday times top 50 beaches
** Caswell bay **
Just a short drive from The Views. Caswell bay is a lovely sheltered cove with great rock pools at low tide.

Caswell is also the first place in south wales to have disability access, a wicked company called Surfability. Off surf lessons for all abilities 🏄‍♂️ 🌊 🏄‍♀️

We are also very lucky to have 2 cafes with ice creams, hot drinks and food available.

Water quality: excellent.

So excited to say we we have a customer choice aware.

Oxwich Church
Next time you go to oxwich beach take a look to the right in between the trees and you’ll see a beautiful church.
Incredible views and so peaceful.
If you walk past the church towards the back you will then see a path leading up into the woodlands. Be warned there are literally 100’s of steps!! But it’s a lovely walk.

Cheers to an amazing summer!!!!

The weather was amazing, the beaches are beautiful, the local food shops and restaurants did not disappoint, the parks were great for the children, did I mention the beaches were breathtaking?

Beautiful Mumbles!!!

There is something quite calming and peaceful seeing the sea meet the sky.
Our favourite beach is juts a 10minute walk away.
It’s a great bay for children to play ball, climb rocks or explore the rock pools with a lovely little coffee shop serving tea, coffee, ice creams and food.
