I can’t believe it’s been four years since these little guys came to live with us. Jasper and Franklin have become real favourites amongst the children as they love to be fussed over and brushed. It’s not too late to book your summer holiday with us for 2023.

Absolutely glorious down at Appledore today

Why not book your summer holiday at Birchill Farm and you can enjoy a delicious Hockins ice cream whilst watching the boats go by. Or set the children up with some crabbing lines off the quay. It’s easy to catch a whole bucketful!

25 th July is the date for the Bideford Water Festival and Cardboard Boat Regatta. This years theme is Pirates! Come and stay with us and it’s only 15 minutes away. Lots of fun and games on Bideford Quay.

Happy New Year everyone.
Now the dust has settled on 2021 why not book for February half term and get the children out in the fresh air again meeting our animals, running through the woods or down on the beach. We still have availability.
If February doesn’t suit then get in early for your summer break. If this year is anything like last year it will get very booked up!!

A great time was had by all toasting marshmallows round the fire pit with half term guests whilst Ange entertained us with songs and guitar playing. Next project is to get the horse box bar finished then the fire pit area will be complete!

We are looking for people with an excellent eye for detail to join our team of housekeepers ready for when we are allowed to open again. Previous experience in a commercial housekeeping environment would be useful but not essential. You must have your own transport as there is no public transport here. Mostly Friday and Saturday but you should be flexible on hours and days as it depends on which cottages have guests. Start time is 10am. Please send your CV via email only to [email protected]
