"We had a lovely time staying here. Both owners are lovely and friendly. Easy to contact. Lovely location, in a quiet remote area. But not to far to the coast. We did day trips to Paignton, brixham, Torquay. Yurt was very cosy, warms up really quickly with log burner, very comfy beds. Great amenities. Thank you.

So lovely to see the sunshine this week just in time for Easter. We have been busily erecting our yurts ready for our guests for this season. The sun has arrived with some lovely clear skies and everything is looking very spring like - there are nesting birds all around the camp and spring flowers popping up. The fields are still a little soggy underfoot after a very wet winter, but we have some availability for Easter weekend. There are signs of Spring all around in our fields and hedgerows and we are looking forward to some lovely sunshine after the long winter months. We are really happy that in 2024 we are now able to offer our guests a few extras such as superfast Wifi, along with use of electricity , charging points, fridges, an electric kettle and microwave if required. Technology is something we all rely on but today it’s let us down - our new super fast fibre broadband is not working leaving us with no landline phone or internet or even television - if you have tried to get hold of us with no joy please send an email and we will pick up the messages when we go out of the house and get 4g mobile signal - hoping it’s fixed soon 🙄

Autumn is upon us and the weather has changed now with the first frost last weekend and some very wet and windy weather over the past couple of days thanks to storm Babet. Our yurts are safely stored in our barn for the winter months but we are still able to offer our quirky shepherds hut through the winter months. The hut can sleep up to 4 people in a double bed and 2 bunk beds, and has a lovely little wood burning stove to keep you warm and an outside seating area with fire pit for those clear starlit evenings. With exclusive use of the facilities its a lovely quiet time of year to have a cosy rural break. If you would like to stay in our shepherds hut for a winter break please get in touch and we are now also taking bookings for yurts for 2024. Its always so lovely when guests enjoy their stay with us -- this is what Maria and Matt had to say:

"I just wanted to email and say Thankyou from the bottom of our hearts for the best stay at your amazing yurt park .
This being my first experience I was very apprehensive to say the least especially as I hadn’t “camped” before and I am terrified of creepy crawlies lol . But I had no need to worry as from the start with your very warm welcome I felt immediately at ease .
The yurt is very comfy and the temperature at night was amazing . The bed was comfy and it was just lovely all round .
We made friends with a couple of robins which was very cute they seemed to either come sit with us or be on the roof in the morning trying to wake us up lol. We enjoyed our bbq night and a lovely meal on our last night at the Tally ho the special pie was to die for !!!
We will be back one day soon with family & friends I’m sure . And I will never forget my first experience with you guys .
