Since starting Cadair View Lodge log cabin accommodation business in 2003 we have been committed to supporting other local businesses. We recognise that the southern Snowdonia area has huge potential for visitors but that they are often "lured" away to the "bright lights" of Llanberis, Caernarfon and such. There is nothing wrong with visiting these areas BUT there is no need to travel so far espec
ially during a short stay. We have always promoted businesses and attractions that are located within 30 minutes drive of Cadair View Lodge accommodation in Snowdonia. By staying local guests spending power is helping to support our local community which often misses out with guests choosing to spend at the more well known centres. There are plenty of things to do and places to see within that range and we see this as doing our bit to ensure that our guests support the local economy. We have taken the limit of this ring to be Criccieth, Beddgelert, Betws y Coed, Bala, Corris, Fairbourne, Barmouth and Harlech. Some of these places are a little over the 30 minutes drive away but by naming towns it makes defining the boundaries easier.
