The vibrant coastal town of Aberystwyth is about a 20min drive from Parc Teifi and while you’re there why not do something different?
Aberystwyth Cliff Railway is the longest funicular electric cliff railway in Britain and has been transporting passengers to the summit of Constitution Hill since 1896.
Once at the summit visitors can experience the views afforded by the one of the world’s largest camera obscuras, which offers a bird’s eye view of 1000 square miles of land and seascape.

Parc Teifi is just a 15 minute drive from the coast where you can spot the famous bottlenose dolphins and grey seals... 🐬
And if u fancy getting in the water yourself just a 30min drive is where you can hire kayaks & paddle boards or take surfing lessons and have a fab day out! 🏄🏽‍♂️🌊

Devils Bridge Falls is less than 10 miles from Parc Teifi Holiday Cottages.

After seeing the unique 3 bridges built on top of each other, you can then take in the spectacular 300ft waterfalls deep within Rheidol gorge.

Coed Maenarthur Woodland nestled in the Ystwyth Valley is another great walk just 5 miles from Parc Teifi.

The walk leads to Castell Grogwynion, one of the largest hill forts in Wales, and passes near an impressive waterfall.

Red Kites thrive in the area and are often spotted overhead at Parc Teifi or on surrounding walks.

If you want to learn more about these majestic birds, we recommend a visit to Tregaron Kite Centre & Museum and Cors Caron National Nature Reserve
