Situated at the foot of the idyllic Dolgoch Falls, our holiday let is an ideal location for those seeking a quiet retreat.
The property is recently refurbished, has a double room (with en-suite), twin room, family bathroom downstairs and country style fully equipped kitchen and separate Lounge/diner (with bed settee) upstairs. It sleeps 4/6 people and is dog friendly.
Outside, our guests can enjoy the use of a private garden with picnic bench and step from there straight onto the beautiful Dolgoch Waterfall walk trails.
A few minutes’ walk from the rear of the garden, leads our guests to the Dolgoch stop of the well-known Tallyllyn Steam Railway. From here, guests can journey through the valleys, taking in the amazing scenery en-route.
The sea side towns of Tywyn and Aberdovey are a short drive away, offering dog friendly beaches, coastal walks, river walks, various dog friendly places to eat and a range of activities from water sports through to putting.
Heading in land, our guests can enjoy the lake side walks around Tallyllyn Lake, Cadair Idris and various woodland trails. The Mawddach Trail and Estuary is approx a 30 mins drive; offering cycling/walking routes, access via train/road or ferry to the seaside town of Barmouth.
The popular market town of Dolgellau is approximately a 20 mins drive away.
Other attractions within a 30 mins drive include: Corris Craft Centre, King Arthur’s Labyrinth, various fishing locations (please check permits/licenses), Centre for Alternative Technology (CAT) the world-renowned eco centre that researches/supports greener ways of living, coastal national railway service from Tywyn gives access to Aberystwyth going south and as far north as Pwhelli.
