After last Sunday’s walk, our guests were invited by Bon Bon to give her a stroke, and as soon as often happens she sat down because she isn’t pregnant…….and there are men around!! Cheeky girl! Too many crias with ideas above their station this year so Ezra treated our guests to more than they bargained for.

Delighted with our Heart of England show results- always part of our show calender. D’Angelo achieved reserve supreme champion Suri fleece. Digby’s Diamond, champion light fawn Suri, best prepared Suri fleece as well as Judges choice Suri fleece. Prince Caspian’s was fawn Suri champion fleece. That makes judges choice Suri fleece and reserve supreme Suri fleece two years in a row. Well done boys.

What an evening…halter training, followed by sitting in the mum’s and babes field with our holiday let guests and besties, Maz and Karen. This was followed by by counting bats coming out of their maternity roost…153 of them- Soprano pipistrelles.

We have 4 types of orchids here at Spring farm in our wildflower meadows. These are common spotted orchids.

We have 20 large round hay bales to sell from last years cut. All from our farms wildflower meadows, ragwort, thistle and dock free. Has been housed under cover.

If you have female alpacas due to give birth this year, having stored plasma in case of need is highly recommended. The blood is processed to give it a life of 5 years, stored safely in you freezer. It’s best to have your own as it represents the immunity of your alpacas on your particular farm.
