It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in The Forge!

Festive decorations are up in preparation for our Christmas guests. It’s going to be a busy festive period as we are fully booked from Christmas Eve until the 4th January, with 4 changeovers during that time. It’s wonderful to have so many people wanting to come and visit our little corner of Wales, especially at this time of year.

The final women’s woodworking workshop of 2024 has now taken place and I’d like to thank every single one of you who have allowed me to teach you this skill during the past year. Some of you came back multiple times and it’s been great to watch you develop your craft.

Well life certainly had some surprises in store for me today!
Went to Prendergast CP School to run a pallet to planter workshop for parents and teachers and ended up with 10 Year 6 children instead!!
A fabulous day with a great bunch of kids who worked really hard and did themselves proud.
They made 5 beautiful planters and learned a load of new skills. We even practiced some maths to keep their teachers happy! 😊 🌟
