I have a few places left on my sawhorse/loghorse workshop on 21st February. These are only available to ladies who have previously attended one of my other workshops. At the end of last year I enjoyed teaching a pallets to planters workshop down in Haverfordwest at one of the primary schools. I was asked to help teach some basic woodwork skills to the parents and teachers so that they could put them to use in their school garden and Bocs Boyd project. Unfortunately none of the adults were available to come to the workshop, so they offered me 10 Year 6 children instead! It was a fabulous day, the kids were great and did an impressive job of creating 5 planters out of 5 pallets.

They’ve asked me to go back again after Christmas, but haven’t told me whether it’s adults or kids next time!

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in The Forge!

Festive decorations are up in preparation for our Christmas guests. It’s going to be a busy festive period as we are fully booked from Christmas Eve until the 4th January, with 4 changeovers during that time. It’s wonderful to have so many people wanting to come and visit our little corner of Wales, especially at this time of year.
