We are delighted to announce that Christina Mackenzie, jeweller / goldsmith will be doing a demonstration from her workshop located on the jetty at Amhuinnsuidhe during our charity open day on Saturday. 5 days to go until our charity open day at Amhuinnsuidhe Castle in aid of the Macmillan Cancer Support Isle of Lewis & Harris Fundraising Group. Amhuinnsuidhe Castle will be open between 1pm and 3pm on Saturday the 28th September. Come along and take a look around the main rooms in the castle and enjoy the art collections, The Isle of Harris Distillery am will be providing a drinks reception as you arrive and there will be tea and cake served in the dining room. The online silent auction is now live and will end at 12pm on Saturday the 28th September. The prize draw which is full of amazing prizes kindly donated by lots of local businesses will be drawn at 2:15pm on the day.
