This week Capra Cottage had its chimney swept in preparation for Father Christmas & our Christmas guests.

Even in the depths of Autumn/Winter North Devon has lots to offer.

If you don’t fancy a bracing walk on one our wonderful beaches & you can drag yourself away from a glorious log fire in a cosy pub, RHS Garden Rosemoor has a wonderful sculpture exhibition on at the mo, running until 31st January. Over 200 sculptures set across the gardens & woodland - it’s well worth a visit.

Here are a few favourites from a lovely day out, albeit a tad chilly!

Our roast dinners are now back by popular demand, available alongside our main lunch menu every Sunday through autumn and winter.

Choose from free range chicken or veggie oatmeal roast, served with roast potatoes, seasonal veg, cauliflower cheese, stuffing, and gravy*.

Bringing the family? Kids' portions of our roasts and select main menu items are also available.

First come first served, so get in early!

Just a reminder that free parking is available over the winter months in Woolacombe! So whether you are coming for a walk on the beach or coast path, a surf, coffee, lunch or a mooch around the village, head to The Esplanade or Marine Drive to take advantage of free parking.

If you want to be in the very centre of the village, there is some street parking (please check the sings for restrictions!) or there is also a car park that charges just £1 per hour.

Note - The Esplanade and Marine Drive don't permit overnight parking/camping at any time of year.

Don't forget to pop in and see us at the Tourist Information Centre - not only do we offer local information (including what's open at this time of year!), we have freshly ground coffees to takeaway (just £2.50 per cup!), cold drinks, local crafts, gifts, souvenirs, maps, books and lots more - we look forward to welcoming you!

1st November until Sunday 17th November - Monday - Saturday 10am-3pm (plus our Christmas Shopping Event on Thursday 14th November from 3pm-7pm)
