Do you swim in the North Sea?! If you fancy braving it, I can recommend:
The ‘Lifeboat Beach’ In Anstruther, at high tide. (Pictured) The newly refurbished Cellardyke Pool aka ‘the Bathie.’ The Pittenweem tidal pool, at West Braes. The tidal pool at St Monans. I also like Cellardyke Harbour at high tide. Always swim with someone. The guide is, if the water is 10C, swim no longer than 10mins, it is at 14C at the moment, so max 14mins. Use a high vis tow float in open water. Enjoy! You will feel so invigorated for the rest of the day. Thank goodness Shore Cottage has two hot showers to warm up in!

Could this be Scotland’s smallest Gallery!? Guests staying at Shore Cottage, Anstruther can now buy Jilly Ballantyne, Artist little things, by scanning the QR code. We all dislike self checkouts, but this one is pretty cute.

and have teamed up and brought out some lovely new designs. When I saw the colour of this duvet set, I just had to get it for - I’ve just realised I have quite a few Scion Lohko patterns around the cottage, and the floral pattern, Kukkia. Lovely stuff!

This weekend I was reading about 'staycations' in the UK being less popular this year, so took a look at Pittenweem Properties- East Neuk Holiday Rentals website, to see how Shore Cottage is faring. There are still a few gaps here and there, but it looks like you are all still keen to come to the East Neuk of Fife! And the Sun has returned! Thank you.

Shore CottageAnstruther Shore Cottage is a charming Victorian detached home very close to the sea. With two bedrooms, two shower rooms and a bright open plan living room with dining kitchen it is a superb holiday home which also benefits from a private garden (with outdoor seating and barbecue) and....
