Once upon a time when I was living in Rome….

The bus driver randomly stopped the bendy bus and got off.

He left us all sitting on it and didn’t say a word.

5-10 minutes later he came back with a gelato!

11 years ago I moved to a small town just north of Rome called Bracciano. I rented a little house, my ‘casetta.’ I bought a Fiat Panda. I recharged in the lake and admired the castle. One day I ordered wood because the heating broke and I was cold. I accidentally ordered 1000kg instead of 100kg. My neighbours helped me with it. We laughed for a long time.

I’m so impressed with all that I’m learning about . Uniworld is a sister company to Contiki and Insight Vacations who I worked with for more than ten years.

On a river cruise, everything is included and I mean everything! Flights, transfers, food, wine, excursions, gratuities…You could literally leave your wallet at home. You always have a view- look at those floor to ceiling windows! This is a river cruise through the Peruvian Amazon. This cruise includes Machu Pichu and there is an additional cruise you can add on to visit Rio and the Iguazu Falls in Brazil too. You know that I’m a Brazil fanatic (that’s why I’m married to a Brazilian and have been to Brazil 6 times!) Truly a once in a lifetime trip and what a unique and fabulous way to visit South America.
