You can now book The Watch Room direct via our website - it is a beautifully presented, contemporary property designed to blend in with its natural surroundings. Whilst being totally peaceful and secluded the Watch Room is only a short walk from the busy town of Southwold and all it’s facilities.

The property sleeps four in two double bedrooms both with ensuite bathrooms. Linking the bedrooms is a moden living/dining room which opens onto a decked terrace which looks out to sea. All rooms have floor to ceiling windows which make the most of the fabulous views out to sea.

With only a low-lying cliff-edge and a near-private beach separating you from the sea, lie in bed in the morning listening to the waves and the skylarks while watching the fishing boats out at sea.

This unique custom-built beach house has been completed to a very high standard, with stunning views towards the cliffs and beaches of Covehithe, The Listening Station is a contemporary property designed to blend in with its natural surroundings.

With only a low-lying cliff-edge and a near-private beach separating you from the sea, sit outside and enjoy the changing light of Suffolk’s big skies and appreciate nature at its best.

The Listening Station is located on a track in a private estate on the site of a World War II listening station – a location once used by Royal Navy Wrens for listening out for German submarines. It is a mere 5-minute cycle ride or 15-minute walk on a private track from the charming seaside town of Southwold with its iconic beach huts, lighthouse and pier. It is also possible to drive this track into Southwold town.

With a beautiful, secluded beach on your doorstep, an easy walk or cycle into Southwold, lovely coastal walks and amazing birdlife just outside your windows, this really has to be the perfect place to appreciate all that Southwold has to offer whilst giving the peace and seclusion in which to really relax.

The Warren sits on the clifftop on the edge of the popular town of Southwold in Suffolk. It enjoys the most wonderful views out to sea, north towards Covehithe and south to Southwold. The house is secluded and surrounded by nature but is an easy walk to the busy town of Southwold which offers plenty of places to eat, drink and explore.
