Communication with Louise, the owner, was very good. She was friendly and helpful, responding quickly to queries I had prior to the holiday, which was much appreciated.

The lodge itself was located in an idyllic, quiet part of the site, next to a beautiful lake. My children loved watching the many ducks and geese swooping into the water whilst sitting out on the decking!
Inside, the lodge was modern and absolutely spotless. It had everything you could possibly need.
We have stayed at Haggerston a lot but this was by far one of the best accommodations we have stayed in.
My parents stayed too and loved the lodge as well. We didn't want to leave and wished we had booked 4 nights instead of 3.
We will definitely look to stay here again in the future!
