Have you seen the daily shows at the Welsh Mountain Zoo?
The Penguin Parade and Bird Show are on at 12pm and 3pm each day.
Sea Lion feeding and training are at 12:25pm and 3:25pm. They are right beside each other so you can easily see one after the other.
The shows are both informative and entertaining. You get so close to the penguins during the parade and even when they are in the enclosure you get to go inside the fence to see them in the water.
Even though summer is over the zoo is still open every day, in fact they only close on Christmas Day!

So many great memories to be made at GreenWood - Gelli Gyffwrdd 🎢
Still time to visit before the kids are back to school >> https://bit.ly/GreenwoodFP
Winter is a great time to visit the more popular tourist sights.
Swallow falls was perfectly quiet when we visited recently. A lovely place to visit if you're around Betws-y-coed.
You enter through a turnstile gate which wasn't attended so no access for wheelchairs or pushchairs. It cost £2 per person and you can pay cash or card. We parked in the lay-by just passed the falls and it was free.
Raining leaves at Penmachno Roman Bridge 🍂
There isn't much parking around but it was very quiet last week. We first went for a walk down to Conwy Falls which is a very short loop through the woods to see the waterfall. The path is clearly marked but it is steep. Definitely not buggy friendly.
We parked at Conwy Falls Forest Park and went for food at the Conwy Falls Cafe after...the sandwiches are great! Then this bridge is just a short drive down the road, you can find it on google. A magical spot for sure.
Anglesey Sea Zoo 🐠🐟🐡
Congratulations to Anglesey Sea Zoo on winning the small business category at the Net Zero Leaders’ Awards for their eco-friendly approach!
It's the UK’s first solar powered aquarium and has two electric car charging points.
95% of waste on site is being recycled or composted.
There are 40 aquariums to explore making it the largest aquarium in Wales.
As part of their British Seahorse Breeding and Conservation programme they house both species of extremely rare British seahorse with the aim of eventually re-establishing these endangered species back into the wild!
Added to all that you have a daily talks and tours, crazy golf course, an adventure playground, cafe, shop and a bouncy castle!
