Tobermory 🇨🇦

This place absolutely won me over, not only because because we got to finally catch up with family & meet those we had never had the pleasure of spending time with, but it's just truly beautiful.

Situated on the Bruce Peninsula, we drove from Toronto via the Blue Mountain resort as a stopping point. Famous for it's shipwrecks in Lake Huron, it's a popular spot for Scuba divers. For those who prefer to keep their feet dry, the Lake can be enjoyed along many of the hiking trails and stunning coves.

Without a doubt the highlight was The Grotto, a pool inside a cave which is assessable via a small gap in the rocks. Crystal clear waters which shimmer off the sunlight that floods in from Georgian Bay...beautiful!

If you're making a trip to Toronto, factor in a few days to explore Tobermory - it makes for a fabulous road trip 🙂

Loved it in here, all the smells and sounds. Packed to the rafters with over 120 outlets, offering everything from meat and fish through to cheese and fresh bread. Most certainly worth a visit but, make sure you arrive hungry!
