Meet Calypso - the Conway Trailer Tent!

She's not quite ready to be hired just yet, so watch out for our updates on what we do to her to get her in tip top shape for you to stay under canvas! We already have the awesome team at Beez Leisure on board to help us out with a couple of improvements!

Calypso has 2 double beds and has 2 pup tents that go underneath the main sleeping areas, so can sleep up to 6 people. She also has a fully equipped camping kitchen, and even a camping toilet for those middle of the night emergencies.

Packages are being worked out and will be announced when she goes live on the website.

It's not often we get both our vans out together, but this weekend was the first of this year!

Our guests had a great time in the girls and they have rebooked for next years event already!

It was also Bertha's maiden voyage after her break in last year. She did us proud!

The wonderful Missy being prepped and prepared for 2 amazing friends for their week away! She can also be made up for a lovely size double bed!

This has only been possible thanks to our amazing friends at Beez Leisure for continuing to support us and help us out whilst our beloved Bertha is waiting for the arrival of her new windows!

We Love how two businesses can work together and really help each other out! We would recommend this family run business for anyone thinking of getting a caravan! Their knowledge is second to none but their friendly customer service is even better!

Today is Assistance Dog Day and here at The Urbould Glamping Experience, we know the benefit of having one (or two!).

We couldn't let this day go by without celebrating our two as well as all the other Assistance Dogs out there!

Some Assistance Dogs you may be very familiar with... Guide Dogs and Hearing Dogs! Some of you may have heard of Medical Alert Assistance Dogs as well as Autism Assistance Dogs. ALL Assistance dogs regardless of what they are trained to do work hard everyday to help their owners/handlers to live as normal a life as possible. They all have the same access rights and they don't have to be a labrador to be one! 😁

Our Assistance Dogs are for Dee's mental health. Her anxiety and depression is so severe that she is classed as having a disability. With the help of RAD Assistance Dogs, our dogs have been trained (and continue to train) to assist her in her daily life. Without them, she wouldn't have the independence she currently has and she couldn't go about her daily life as she does.

Do you know what to do if you encounter an assistance dog? This handy little image below will help give you some guidance.

On a side note - Please don't be offended if you ask to stroke them and their owner/handler says no.... they are working after all! Dee has actually had abuse from someone because she wouldn't let them stroke her assistance dog whilst she was working! 🥺😖 you will be surprised what she goes through on a daily basis with members of the public!

Happy Assistance Dog Day to Lola and Ziva and all the other awesome pooches out there supporting their owner/handlers in whatever they need to live!

Busy weekend at The Urbould Glamping Experience... after Saturdays collection, we decided we needed something to help tidy up the back of the truck...

So we called upon our trusted friend Shellen and ta da..... custom made boot box to keep everything neat, tidy and organised to make our lives easier!

Huge thanks to shellen for all the hard work!

Hey there glampers!

This week we have set up at The Limburners in Billingshurst! I lovely little site behind a pub which is only 40 mins drive from Brighton and 20 mins from Horsham!

The weather has been a little intermittent... but rain has not stopped play!

HUGE shout out to our awesome friends at Beez Leisure who managed to find us a loan caravan for this group booking so that we didn't let our customers down! So Connie and Missy (not ours so she's miscellaneous! 😁) are doing us proud!!!

Hi Glamping fans...

Some sad news at HQ... on Thursday night, we were victims of a targeted theft. A group of 5 men came and broke in to Bertha, and stole all her windows.

They saw we had a ring doorbell and covered it up, but we don't think they saw we have full cctv as well! We have clear images of the people doing the theft which is now in the hands of the Police. We disturbed them and they then proceeded to hit our front door with a baseball bat too. We are obviously shaken and angry but fine and just grateful as it could have been a lot worse.

Bertha is now in the safe hands of the awesome team at who are leeping her safe and doing their best to source new windows for us ASAP so the next booking in 2 weeks time can go ahead.

Sad times but we will not be beaten!

The sun's out and we are finishing the logos on Bertha today and doing a stock check to ensure she is all ready for her next outing!

If you hire Connie or Bertha with the Gold package and above, you get a BBQ included in the price... we love a good BBQ when we are camping... but the questions is... have you tried our absolute staples.....??

Halloumi or halloumi wrapped in bacon....

And

Banana wrapped in bacon

That might sound controversial but don't knock it til you try it!
